Over the last decade I have been immersed in a variety of performance environments both as a coach and as an athlete. I have had experience of trying to juggle high level training whilst studying for a university degree and also during my three years as a full-time multi-sports coach at a high achieving sports school.
These experiences have left me with a drive to share my knowledge with like minded, ambitious athletes looking to achieve their own individual goals and reach their full potential.
During my years in the sport, racing on both age-group and professional circuits, the athletes I speak to rarely lack ambition and all dedicate a significant amount of time to training and preparing for their chosen events. This is often balanced around busy lifestyles, where time is precious.
My aim is to harness that limited time and energy you have as an athlete by providing an effective evidence-based training programme backed by physiologists. These programmes have been tried and tested by multiple top level, long and short course triathletes, who are achieving high level performances on the world stage.
Through applying knowledge gained from the literature and by working with leading sports physiologists, I am able to put together a programme that specifically targets those physiological markers that are proven determinants of physical performance within the sport of triathlon.
This approach, coupled with daily communication and feedback from myself, will help create a picture of you as an athlete and allow me to put together a training programme that works for you.
